How to Play Brawl Arena

Brawl Arena is a fast, arcade-style beat-'em-up. Here's the full control scheme, on touch devices and on desktop keyboard, straight from the in-game "How to Play" screen.

Touch controls

MoveLeft joystick — up/down also shifts depth on the floor.
HITLight melee combo. Chain them and back off.
▲ JumpHop over projectiles and juggle airborne foes.
DEFGuard to soak hits — you can't move while blocking.
SP · NeutralTap SP for your signature move (costs the blue energy bar).
SP · DashDouble-tap forward, then SP — a charging attack.
SP · AirPress Jump, then SP in the air for a launcher.
WeaponsStand over an item and press HIT to pick it up. THROW hurls it; each weapon has limited swings.

Keyboard controls

AttackPress A for a light combo. Chain them and back off.

BlockHold D to guard — you can't move while blocking.

Every fighter has three specials

Alongside basic movement and melee, every fighter carries three signature special moves — a neutral special, a dash special, and an air special — each drawing from the same blue energy bar. See the fighter roster for each character's specific special moves.
